A complete review on the Mayan Days of Sound CD. An exceptional musical adventure as you use this as a meditational tool. Filled with the soft sounds of flutes, drums and other instruments.
I ran across this CD totally by accident. It peaked my interest as I use the Mayan deities in so many of my path workings. I saved this CD to review until my Mayan cards called upon me to use them in a personal reading. Once the call came was when I listened to this amazing tool.
The music is astounding. Using this as a tool with my cards and meditation I was impressed at how well that they all flowed together. It was as if this music was the missing piece from my meditation and cards. No, the cards I use are not tarot. I wanted to make that point right out front.
I did my complete path working using this musical CD. I will in fact use again and again. You might be asking yourself why I refer to this as a tool over and over again. This is not a simple, every day new age musical CD. This is something that you would use as tool to increase your personal experience as you are meditating or using another technique of path working. The music expanded the experience thus to me it should be included as a tool in your magical travels.
The sounds of the music are created with harmonics, a variation of frequency and tone within the same note. It is said it has a potential healing effect. I will say that this music, especially certain tracks, relaxed and helped with my experience.
The creator of this CD, Craig Howell has been creating music for years. He is a writer and an astrologer.
Creating the tracks, taking a day for each for a total of twenty days to complete. There are 20 tracks. Such as:
Imix
IK
Caban
Ben
and others. You would really have to know what each represents to know the names. Since I am studying the Mayan path this was like it was custom made for me.
No, you do not have to walk this path to enjoy. I would strongly urge you to listen to his Mayan Days of Sound and judge for yourself.
This is one of the most mystical sounds I have heard in years.
