It Becomes What We Say

Where we put our focus is what the universe will bring to us. Recently I realized that my prayer of protection was more of a magnetic for negativity than a shield and that when I sought prosperity the money flowed out as fast as it came in. I simply wasn’t listening to what I was saying or how I was saying it. In my attempts to better my life I was drawing in exactly what I wished to push away.
Every day I said a prayer of protection for myself, my fur-kids and all my possessions. I set up multi-layered shields and energy barriers, yet negativity seems to be able to find its way in. Part of my daily prayer included “all negativity, both the seen and the unseen can not penetrate my barriers.” By using the negative I was rolling out the welcome carpet to all negativity floating by. I was continually battling icky things and I didn’t understand why. The simple phrasing to of “can not” is what opened the door. The universe doesn’t recognize a negative. It was hearing “all negativity can penetrate my barriers.” Hence the influx of anger, frustration and energy draining beings. It was only when I truly listened to what I was saying that I realized my mistake. By focusing on what I didn’t want, I didn’t get what I wanted. I changed my daily prayer to call in health, love, joy, and prosperity, so all negativity is reflected back to the sender. In doing so the prayer became a blessing, which filled my home to over flowing so there was no room for anything else.
My attempts at prosperity met with the same results. No matter how much money I was able to draw to me, it was never enough. When extra money did appear, it was quickly used for unexpected expenses or my bills suddenly became larger. No matter how much work I did or how I conserved, my income didn’t seem to cover my expenses. It was not like I just sat and asked for cash. I was more than willing to work for the financial help. I started doing online Tarot Readings. People wanted the readings, but were unwilling to pay for them. Once again the improper sheilding brought those who would drain my energy and resources. When my rice bowl job gave me a raise, the health insurance premium went up. For years I had been working myself into exhaustion and never being able to get a head. Once again it came back to how I was asking for help. My requests were unstructured. I asked for financial prosperity without defining what I needed. What I should have asked for is that my bills be paid in full on time and that I be able to care for myself and my fur-kids while living well. There is a “ten more” philosophy, which states that you will always have ten more dollars than you need. If you need to do repairs, you will have enough to cover the cost plus ten dollars more. If you need a new car, you have enough to pay for it plus ten. It is a blessing you can give to yourself and others, which will always insure you will have what you need when you need it.
Protection and prosperity can not simple be prayed for; you need to be an active participant in providing for yourself. You need to be aware of your surrounding and made good choices. Simply asking and not doing anything to help the process will not get you anywhere. It’s like the parable going around the internet: a person asks the Goddess to help her win the lottery and the Goddess replies that she need to help her out by buying a ticket. If you want a job or a new job, you have to actively look. You need to get the training you need to be more marketable. Sitting at home without applying for jobs will not get you what you want. In addition, you need to specify without being specific. For an example, I asked for a publisher for my first novel, Dragon’s New Home. A publisher did find me and I got what I asked for–a publisher nothing more. The company is an author mill, who is more interested in bragging about how many authors they published and manipulating them to buy there own books instead of selling to the public. No matter how much effort I put into promoting my novel, I could not gain traction because of their business practices. But I did get what I asked for; I was published. For my second novel, I have changed my request to include only those publishers, agents and editors who will have the ability and will be enthusiastic about publishing my work so it will be successful and prosperous. I will ask more questions and do the research before making a decision, because it is also my responsibility to make the best choice possible.
By walking that thin line of personal responsibility and seeking the help of the Goddess you can improve your life and live well. This is my new daily prayer:
“May this house my home be filled to over flowing with health, wealth, well being, love and peace of mind so that all negativity is immediately reflected back to the sender with notification to the Goddesses of Justice. May my finances flourish and prosper so I may care for myself and my fur-kids, pay all my bills on time and in full; may my debts be paid to a zero balance; may I always enough to repair my home and be able to save twenty dollars a week for the future while still being able to eat well, enjoy the company of friends and have the resources to simple play.”
It’s a mouth full, but very effective. It calls in the positive while deflecting the negative. Since I changed my perspective my home is quieter and more secure; I am still financially challenge but more opportunities have started to pay off. For all those who read this, I wish you the blessing of “ten more”.
