Irish Common Brown Bread

*Irish Common Brown Bread *

Hello, Dearies!
I found this recipe while moving.
I’m no longer in Alaska.
I got a transfer and I’m now someplace
much warmer….

Irish Common Brown Bread

2 cups of luke-warm water
2 tablespoons molasses
2 teaspoons salt
3 1/2 cups white bread flour
3/4 cup wheat flour
2 teaspoons yeast

/Preheat oven to 450/

Blend dry ingredients together. Add Water and Molasses. Stir. Pour into
greased bread pan, Let rise for 20-30 minutes.

Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 425 and bake for an
additional 35 minutes or until done. Bread should reach an inside
temperature of 190.

Let cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan.

This is especially good with fresh made butter…..
Yummy…..

Tootles!
