Energy Reading for May

In the month of May, there will be challenges we all must face on one level or another. The energy levels and wavelengths are two of these challenges. How they will affect us will depend on us as individuals and what karmic stuff we are working on. This reading is to give you the heads up on what we will all be facing. The reading consists of three cards, representing the past, present and the future. Each card will give the general atmosphere of the energy in that position.
While I was shuffling two cards jumped out of the deck, wanting my attention. The page of wands is a card of messages as they relate to business and enterprise. It is the business of life. The other card was the Fool. This major arcana tells us that the challenge will be to have faith and courage. Trusting ourselves and the Divine at this time will be very important. There are no coincidences or accidental meetings. Just the Divine giving you options.
The card of the past represents what kind of energy and challenges we have carried over from April. It is the World. From the past, we have options that we still haven’t used. There are resources that we haven’t tapped into yet, mostly because we haven’t seen them. It talks about moving through the ending of the old and being open to the new possibilities in our life. By hanging on to the old and worn, we limit what we can bring into our lives now. It is what keeps us stagnant and stuck in old beliefs. However, if we chose to see beyond what we have learned to expect, there are alternatives; the only one keeping us from seeing them is ourselves.
The card for April is the four of pentacles. It is being able to hang on to what is important to us. It gives a sense of security and comfort when the winds of change create hurricanes in our lives. The four also talks about material comforts and financial pursuits. Look for alternatives, but do not give up the on what you have until you have found something to replace it. For those looking for new employment or a business opportunities, you must investigate to make sure it is a sound deal before you make the change. Although we are carrying many options from the past into this month, many of them will have already gone beyond our reach.
The five of wands is the energy we will take out of this month. Stress and frustration at having lost what we didn’t know we had will be our general feeling. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or to express you feelings. Although the opportunity may have passed for you, it might be coming on the horizon for another. Again, getting the facts and clarifying situations will be extremely important. Don’t guess or assume you know what others mean or need. By clearing the air and getting the straight facts, misunderstandings are avoided or cleared, thereby reducing the stress in our lives and opening up other avenues to us.
