Chapter one based on cleansing, auric visualizations, mediations with exercises this opening intro gives a lighted way of empowering the self with the topics she discusses. One of the important parts to this book is the use of the Crystal 8 Spell and the Witchs Claw of Protection if applied can be beneficial to any learner. Additional uses of sigils/symbols of empowerment and one distinct symbol formula called the Infinity Diagram has many uses but the use of that method can be applied to any tarot divination readings as well. With embracing her originality in all magically formulated applications her techniques and all-inclusive herbal correspondents in chapter 5 utilizes spells that coincide with the herbal associations giving a much a wider view towards this focus.
Major highlight of A Witchs Notebook is Chapter 3 the use of the Spiritual Garden exercise; personally speaking through using this instruction has opened my eyes to new levels of knowledge. Along with other spiritual goodies of color correspondents, moon phases this comprehensive book that caters to the mid-level to advance level Witch will find newer ways to conduct the craft with the use of various subjects that are covered in her book. Through mentioning the science of magick, her own personal thoughts of friends, family and spiritual intakes displays personal accounts that readers will find themselves relating to her. From the spells, exercises, and personal thoughts of her own experiences, she conveys a straight forward approach with a twist of modern day humor (some crones might contest to) for which is refreshing considering her writing is colorfully expressed.
